Organisation of Flickr - The Primary Vision

Configure Flicker Part 4

Organisation - The Primary Vision

You now have an understanding of 'rapid organisation' (of your collection).
The next step is to see the primary 'finished article'.
This will inform your decisions on how best to name each album of photos - note: we are now moving away from the concept of 'packets of photos', as we begin to see how photographs can be moved around, and appear in different groupings.

From how the collections are named in the example... you can imagine how, and what, would be your own groups.

We are not going to examine how the 'access structure' (or 'archive structure') is achieved - this will be covered in a subsequent video.

Figure it out for yourself

This is not recommended, unless you wish to design your own archive structure.
Note: A good archive structure is critical, as scanned photographs have none of the information that Flickr normally uses for archiving and retrieval purposes.
