Cleaning: Dye Sublimation Photos
Prints created using heat, such as those from self-service kiosks or marked “Thermal Photo Paper” on the back.
For insurance claim purpose, photograph the damaged prints.
If the photos are wet, first, let them dry on a clean, flat surface.
Next, gently wipe the surface with damp, clean towel.
If prints are stuck together, there is no need to soak them in water as they can easily be peeled apart if dried.
Carefully package the prints, and send to ECIH.org for scanning & restoration.
